BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY Meeting Date: May 17, 2000 Division: County Attorney AGENDA ITEM WORDING: This is a TEFRA federally mandated public hearing of the Industrial Development Authority as required by Fedaral law for the purpose of providing the public an opportunity to discuss issues concerning the Wesley House financing. ITEM BACKGROUND: The Wesley House has requested the IDA to act as the conduit for financing for its physical expansion. A review by the County's financial advisor has found no apparent problem with the County's participation. The inducement resolution approving the issuance of the bonds and the project. The passing of a bond resolution approving the issuance of the actual bonds and various documents will be on the 6/14/00 agenda. The above is on the advice of bond counsel.
