At the June 18, 2008, Board of County Commissioners Meeting the Board granted
approval and authorized execution of the following:
Amendment and I st Renewal Agreement between Monroe County and Diversified
Services of Key West, Inc. for janitorial services at the May Hill Library, Key West, Florida and
the Departmmt of Juvenile Justice Building - second floor. Enclosed is a duplicate original for
your handling.
Contract Amendment between Monroe County and Siemens Building Technologies, Inc.
to increase the not to exceed amount of $25,000 to $45,000 for additional services for the testing,
certification, and maintenance of the Monroe County Detention Center's fire alarm system,
building automation system, and smoke control system; the Sheriffs Administration Building's
fire alarm system and building automation system; the Juvenile Justice Center's fire alarm system
and building automation system; and the Courthouse Annex's fire alarm system. Enclosed is a
duplicate original for your handling.
Amendment and 1 st Renewal Agreement between Monroe County and ARAMARK
Uniform Services, a division of ARAMARK Uniform & Career Apparel, LLC for the Division
of Public Works uniform services. Amendment adds an additional option for 100% cotton
garments, and exercises the first option to renew for an additional year. Enclosed is a duplicate
original for your handling.
Contract between Monroe County and All Power Generators, Corp. for emergency
generator inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Enclosed is a duplicate original for your
handling.
Federally Funded Subgrant Agreement with State of Florida Division of Emergency
Management for the Marathon Garage Overhead Door Wind Retrofit Project. Enclosed are
three duplicate originals, executed on behalf of Monroe County, for your handling. Please be
sure to return the Agreements marked "Monroe County Clerk's Office Original" and
"Monroe County Finance Department's Original" as soon as possible. NOTE: The state

requested that page 37 be completed. After reviewing this page, it was determined that this
page should be completed by the contractor to the project, not Monroe County.

the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Enclosed are three duplicate
originals, executed on behalf of Monroe County, for your handling. Please be sure to return

Great Florida Birding Trail
Sign Maintenance Agreement
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, 620 South Meridian St.,
Tallahassee, FL 32399-1600 (FFWCC) and the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
I,
County, Florida, a political subdivision of the State of Florida as an authorized agent for and on
behalf of Monroe County, 1100 Simonton St., Room 2-216, Key West, Florida 33040, (County),
do hereby agree that the County shall maintain the Great Florida Birding Trail Sign (signs),
installed along CR 905 within Monroe County, Florida. The County shall perform maintenance
consisting of the following:
Periodic inspection of all signs, including:
. Ensuring clear visibility from the roadway. Any obstructions shall be
removed or the sign(s) relocated to provide adequate visibility.
. Inspection of sign posts, foundations, brackets, etc., for any defects. Any
such defects shall be repaired/replaced in accordance with Florida
