Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact this office. cc: County Attorney Finance Filel 1 st AMENDMENT TO THE STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN OWNER AND CONSULTANT FOR RESIDENT INSPECTOR SERVICES THIS AMENDMENT is made this 1 ih day of June, 2009 by and between Monroe County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, whose address is 1100 Simonton Street, Key West, hereafter "OWNER or COUNTY" and Perez Engineering and Development, Inc., a Florida Corporation whose address is 1010 Kennedy Drive, Suite 400, Key West, FI. 33040 hereafter "CONSULTANT or CONTRACTOR". WITNESSETH WHEREAS, on the 17th day of December 2008, the County entered in to a Consultant Agreement with the contractor for resident inspector services; and, WHEREAS, the original agreement contained a compensation cap of $100,000; and, WHEREAS, as a result of delays in the completion of the Key West International Airport - l'Jew Terminal Building and Renovation project, the County will require continued resident inspector services; and, WHEREAS, the compensation cap will need to be increased in order to continue to the resident inspector services; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants set forth below, the parties agree to amend the original agreement as follows: 1. Paragraph 7.1 of the original agreement is amended to read as follows: 3:o~" 7.1 The fee shall be based on an hourly time charge basis with an estimat~~et ~it::9f $125,000.
