With your assistance we have been able to establish the three dates for these events using the commission facilities. Now we have been told that we must ask the County Commissioners to waive the fee that is normally charged. We were not aware of this fee and since the League has. no money these events cannot take place. We had talked earlier with those at the cable facility and knew that we could not afford that. During the discussions Wright Langley had about the county facilities, we were under the impression that there was no charge. Because we are a nonpartisan group dedicated to providing voter education we would like to request that, as a public service, the fees be waived so that we might continue with our plans for the three televised forums in August, September and October. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation in this matter. Si ncerely, G~~ Phyllis May President
