AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval of request to schedule a closed executive session ofthe
Board of County Commissioners in the matter of Thomas J. Willi v. Monroe County BOCC,
Unemployment Compensation Case 2009-58952U, during its regularly meeting scheduled for October
21, 2009 in Key West.
ITEM BACKGROUND: Legal staff desires direction from Board on the case. Per F.S. 286.011(8),
the subject matter of the meeting shall be confined to settlement negotiations or strategy sessions
related to litigation expenditures.
Present at the meeting will be the Commissioners, County Administrator Roman Gastesi, Deputy
County Administrator Debbie Frederick, Employee Services Director Teresa Aguiar, County Attomey
Suzanne Hutton, Chief Assistant County Attomey Bob Shillinger, Assistant County Attorney Cynthia
Hall, and a certified court reporter.
