Project No. 817-09 October 5,2009 RE: Audio I Visual Systems Professional Engineering Design Services Our design services shall include the following deliverables as described herein: A V DESIGN SERVICES A V SYSTEMS FOR THE COMPLETE BUILDING 1. A CATV system including a head end capable of modulation signals from cable providers, satellite Dish Network, VCRlDVD and any program material created inside the building. 2. CATV (Cable TV) distribution to selected areas. 3. Media distribution system: A passive infrastructure shall be designed to provide the media the capacity to feed selected video and audio signals from the Press Media Room, to the media truck parking positions outside the building. Design shall include an exterior NEMA 4X stainless Steel Pedestal at the press truck parking location connected to a press interface plate in the press room. AV SYSTEMS FOR EOC OPERATIONS AREA Audio visual systems for the EOC: 1. Front Projection using two high-definition ceiling mounted projectors for high resolution map displays and two ceiling mounted electric screens... 2. Additional video monitors to the left and right of the large venue display for local cable or satellite feeds. 3. An audio system with microphones in every console 4. A podium for briefings with wired and wireless microphones. 5. Two monitors on the podium where the presenter can watch the program material being display on the screens without turning their back to the audience and a telestration screen to give the director or presenter the opportunity to overlay any of the video sources available with notes and annotation in real time with the ability to print out screen shot captures. 6. Two CATV fixed cameras and associated DVR system for audio/video recording to have logs of all decisions and events that happen inside the floor space for backup documentation if regulations compliance required. 7. Control interface to light control system. A V SYSTEMS FOR EXECUTIVE BOARDROOM 1. Two wall mounted LCD displays with multiple sources like VCRlDVD, VHF/UHF tuner, computer outputs and CCTV cameras from the building. 2. An audio system capable of reproducing any audio program that comes with the video program material displayed on the LCD displays. Up to four Breakout Rooms with monitors and projectors capable of displaying different audio visual materials like VCRlDVD, VHF/UHF tuner and computer outputs. 2. The sound system shall be able to distribute any audio program that comes with any of the video signals displayed on the lCD monitors. All of the above will be provided in complete engineered construction documents, and will include all required project specifications. 1. Architectural elements coordination to blend design with the overall aesthetics and function of the space. 2. Provide coordination for specific Electrical and HVAC interface requirements to these spaces for lighting control, cooling and building pathway requirements. 3. Construction Documents in AutoCAD and final specifications for bid purposes including Riser diagrams of Audio Visual systems. Elevation details and millwork coordination with architect for owner selected furniture/millwork. CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES 1. Responses to Contractors RFI's. 2. Shop drawings review. 3.
