RESOLUTION NO. 389 - 2009
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA
ELECTING A MAYOR/CHAIRPERSON AND MAYOR
PRO TEM.
WHEREAS, it has become necessary for the members of the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, to elect a Mayor/Chairperson and Mayor Pro Tern for said Board; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Commissioner Sylvia Murphy is hereby designated
Mayor/Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners ofMomoe County, Florida.
Section 2. That Commissioner Heather Carruthers is hereby designated
Mayor Pro Tern of the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 18th day of November, 2009.
