On March 11, 1998, the Board of County Commissioners granted approval
and authorized execution of the following documents:
Change Order No.5 between Monroe County and D.L. Porter Construction, Inc.,
for the Key West International Airport Terminal Renovations, in the
increased amount of $35,743.00.
Change Order No.6 between Monroe County and D.L. Porter Construction, Inc.,
for the Key West International Airport Terminal Renovations, in the
increased amount of $86,516.00.
Change Order No.2 between Monroe County and Professional Services
Industries, Inc., for the Key West International Airport Terminal
Renovations, in an amount not to exceed $14,000.00 and a time extension
to April 14, 1998.
Enclosed please find a fully executed duplicate original of each of the above
Change Orders for return to your providers.

A new 10.000 sQ ft building is under construction at the Key West International Airport. where half of it will
be occupied by Customs. Immigration and Agriculture Inspection services. The other half is a multi-
purpose space where Greyhound Lines. Inc. will be utilizing part. The attached list submitted by D.L.
Porter Construction. Inc. summarizes the costs needed to complete the interior on the west side of the
new annex terminal for Greyhound's use. The total cost of $86.516.00 will thereby increase the
construction contract from $3.796.925.00 to $3.883.441.00. and extend substantial completion thirty (30)
days. from January 13. 1999. to February 12. 1999.

Greyhound Lease Improvements
Dear Ms. Peacock:
A ttac:hed is our breakdown for the Interior completion of the Greyhotmd space
on the west side of the nelV annex terminal. I have also included the subcontractors
pro(?osals for your review (Included with hard copy).
The following is a list of clarifications to our proposal:
L We shall provide the duplex receptacles as shown on the plans.
2. Telephone and data outlets will be empty conduit with pull wire, stubbed
above the suspended ceiling.
3. No ceiling lighting Is shown; however, we will re-configure the existing 2x4
parabolic lay-ins as necessary and add six (6) ne''1 fixtures. We will also
provide 12 LF at sotfit lighting.
4. Since no switching is shown, we have figured to provide five (5) switches.
Greyhound llghtllll will be on a separate circuit from other existing lighting
and will be controlled separately. .
5. No fire alarm devices are shown so we have included what we believe is
required. We have allowed for one (l) pull station, four (4) smoke dete~tors
and live (5) speakerlstrobas, all tied into the existing Simplex panel. Any
additional devices required by the Fire Marshal will be submitted as an
additional cost.
6, We have l'1cluded a total u!' e~ght (8) g~t end emt',,~enq! lights similar to
the east side. .
7. All electrical loads will be tied into the standby generator.
8. The door buzzers requested will sound when the doors open or elose.
9. TUe flooring shall be similar to the east side ot the terminal, however., because
of availability, it will not be the same. Samples will be provided.
10. The dividing wall between the Greyhound space and the remainder of the
vacant space ,,'ill be a one (1) hour rated wall to the underside of the deck.
All other \Valls w111 terminate 4" to 6" above the acoustic cefiing.

11. We have included re-working the existing fire sprinkler system as required
by code.
12. We have included the seating which matches what has already been installed.
Beca.use or the time trame involved, we suRest using what is presently
stored and order neW COl" the existing terminal. Arms can be provided if
required.
13. Ten (10) tons of HVAC will be supplied in the Greyhound space using the
existing equipment.
14. Other than the new signage, no additional sitework is included.
15. Permit or impact fees are not included.
It is my understanding that this facility neecb to be completed by March 30, 1998,
Which can happen it we are given the go ahead by March 1, 1998. I am sure there
may be some areas ,.,here we could obtain cheaper pricing, however, because of
the time frame, I feel more confident using subcontractors famUiar with this faciUty.
With acceptance of this proposal, ,.,e request that thirty (30) days time extentJon
be added to this contract.
