After several months of attempting to cope with a serious problem in the
headqu8rters building of the Monroe County Library System, the Library
Boerd has decided upon the following:
To engage the services of a security firm to reduce the theft occurring
during opening hours within the building, and also to maintain a close
surveillance of those individuals who have from time to time caused alarm to
the women who work in the library.
The firm selected to contra.ct this service is the TRIPLE B SECURITY C01vlPANY
wi th srea offices in Marathon, Florida. The Library BObrd he s contrHcted to p~-y
the amount of 584.27 per month to the firm. For this sum an srmed security
gu€rd ~Jill be me intB"ined in the building from 1 P. }/l. to 6 P. ~~. on l..fonday
end Se:turday of each week, and from 1 P. Iv). to 9 P. ~r. on 'fuesdt;y through
Friday of each week. The first two days listed are the short days at the

Whereas, Agent is duly qualified by State License to furnish guard service and protection, and has, in its employ, uniformed,
trained guards, all capable of performing the work required of them.

NOW, THEREFORE, this agreement witnesseth that:
1. Agent will furnish trained, uniformed guard protection for the above described premises as follows:
