Monroe County is to have use of the following facilities from 8/20/90 beginning at 8:30-4:30 AM/PM to 8/20/91 at8:30-4:30 AM/PM. 2. The National Council, Boy Scouts of America, requires the completion of the following documents. Monroe County agrees to provide the Florida Sea Base with the following documents by 8/20/90 a. A certificate of liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 combined single limit, ten (10) day written notice of cancellation, and the period of time involved. b. A hold harmless agreement (copy attached). c. A certificate showing non-profit and/or tax exempt status, if applicable to your group. d. A roster showing the names of all youth and adults participating in this activity and emergency numbers where relatives or parties responsible for them can be located. ~/~ e. Provide evidence of automobile liability for the same limits as required for the general liability when Monroe County owned vehicles or their drivj_ng company are on the Boy Scouts of America property. 3. It is understood and agreed to by both parties that the fee for the use of the Florida National High Adventure Base is 0 4. It is understood and agreed to by both parties that a 10% deposit is required to be paid by N/A This is non-refundable, but is part of the total fee. 5. It is understood and agreed to by both parties that Monroe County shall be responsible for any and all damages to Sea Base property which may reasonably be attributed to the actions of the said group and Sea Base agrees to promptly pay Monroe County any and all reasonable damage claims when presented. 6. It is understood and agreed to by both parties that no alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs of any kind are permitted to be used on the premises. 7. It is understood and agreed to by both parties that N/A will provide at least one adult leader (defined as 21 years of age or older for purposes herein) for every ten (10) members of the party present on Base below the age of 21 years; that at least one of the said adult leaders must be present with the group at all times while the group is at Sea Base. perating and the directions ~ ~ or the Assistant ~ group 9. ND ' ,... ~.. t r:,:,'-'r=NCY. r - - - - -- .. ....,- · :-~~r~\q~ SEA BASE HOLD-HARMLESS AGREEMENT Monroe County shall indemnify, hold free and harmless, assume liability for, and defend the Boy Scouts of America, its chartered affiliates, agents, servants, employees, officers and directors from any and all attorneys' fees, reasonable investigative and discovery costs, court costs, and all other sums which the Boy Scouts of America, its chartered affiliates, agents, servants, employees, officers and directors and all and every demand for claim or assertion of liability, or any claim or action founded thereon, arising or alleged to have risen out of Monroe County's use of real or personal property belonging to the Boy Scouts of America, its chartered affiliates, agents, servants, employees, officers, and directors, or by any action or omission by Monroe County , its members, agents, servants, employees, officers or directors, under the provisions of and up to the limits of liability as stated in FS 768.28.
