ATTACHMENT TO CHANGE ORDER #1 WEST MARTELLO TOWER Paragraph 1.03 of the Contract between Monroe County and Construction and Repair Specialists of Florida, Incorporated is ammended to include for (F) as follows: 1.03 Specifications and Scope of Construction Work: (F) Entrance arcade (Escarpement) support piers number three (3) and archway soffi t. (1) The entire brick pier and archway area will be cleaned with a high pressure water spray and all loose mortar removed. (2) Test condition/integrity of remaining lower brick archway soffit and remove this section of unsupported brick arch if not found to be structurally sound. (3) Properly replace all missing brick in both piers to provide structural integrity for the archway. (4) Check for loose bricks and broken or missing mortar. All loose bricks will be refastened with epoxy and repointed with mortar. (5) Repoint all bricks with pressure mortar injection system and, in so far as possible, restore the original appearance of the mortared brick.
