A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA REQUESTING THAT THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION ASSIGNED A PRIORITY TO THE INSTALLATION OF A
RADIUS OUTSIDE OF THE OCEAN REEF COMMUNIlY, TO ALLOW TRAFFIC
TO FLOW AT 35 MILES PER HOUR.
WHEREAS, the intersection of CR 905 and Card Sound Road (SR 905A) is a very dangerous
intersection; and
WHEREAS, for many years Monroe County has requested FDOT to provide a radius curve at
this intersection to facilitate hurricane evacuation; now, therefore
BE IT RESOL VED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA that:
Section 1. FDOT is hereby requested to install a radius curve at the flashing yellow light
and intersection of CR 905 and Card Sound Road (SR 905-A), located outside of the Ocean Reef
community, to allow traffic to flow at 35 MPH.
Section 2. The Clerk is requested to send a certified copy of this Resolution to the
Florida Department of Transportation.
