Hanson `- Assistant County Attorney RE: Contract between MSD and Geotech Industries The County Attorney has asked me to respond to your memorandum to him, dated August 14, 1989, in which you have inquired whether a letter of credit tendered to the County on behalf of Geotech conforms with the requirements of the contract between Geotech and the County. With regard to the letter of credit, the con- tract between Geotech and the County requires only that Geotech will furnish the County with a letter of credit "with a rating of 'A' or better." The determination of whether a letter of credit bears a certain rating is not a legal question, and it is one which I believe the County Administrator would be best suited to make. For this reason, I suggest that you direct your inquiry to the County Administrator.
