Re Approval of Hire for Director of
Monroe County Libraries.
As you are aware, Marianne Lancaster has submitted her
resignation from the position of Director for Monroe County
Libraries, effective 1/1/89.
We have a qualified in-house applicant to fill this posi-
tion. We wish to hire Mary A. Quinn as the new Director of
Libraries, effective upon conformation of the Monroe County
Commission at their January 17, 1989 meeting. She will be hired
at the pay grade of ADM-F, at a salary of $27,640.00 plus the
usual Monroe County employee benefits.
I wish to appoint Ms. Quinn acting Director of Libraries,
effective 1/l/89, pending BOCC approval of her permanent appoint-
ment.
I have prepared our standard employment contract for Ms.
Quinn to submit to the County Commission for their approval.
