HancjL At March 16, 2011, Board of County Commissioner's meeting, the Board granted approval and authorized execution of Item C9 Amendment 1 to the Contract with Paradise Divers, Inc. for the Temporary Ferry Service to Pigeon Key to include a provision requiring Paradise Divers to use the Department of Homeland Security E- verify program. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact this office. cc: County Attorney Finance File AMENDMENT 1 TO THE CONTRACT FOR TEMPORARY FERRY SERVICE THIS CONTRACT AMENDMENT is entered into between Monroe County, whose address is 1100 Simonton Street, Key West, FL 33040, hereafter the County, and PARADISE DIVERS, INC., whose address is 1821 Bittersweet Avenue, Big Pine Key, FL 33043, hereafter the Contractor. Section 1. The Contractor shall utilize the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E- Verify system, in accordance with the terms governing the use of the system to confirm the employment eligibility of all persons employed by the Contractor and assigned to perform work pursuant to the Contract. The Contractor agrees to provide written confirmation to the County that it has complied with this requirement. Section 2. Force and Effect. In all other respects the Contract commencing July 1, 2010 remains in full force and effect. Section 3. Effective Date.
