03/11/1980CONTRACTURAL AGREEMENT FOR SALARIES OF MONROE COUNTY EXTENSION AGENTS The Florida Cooperative Extension, University of Florida, Gainesville, does hereby agree to provide two professional Extension Faculty; one Extension Agent trained in Marine Science and one trained in Ornamental Horticulture, to conduct educational programs and provide technical information for the clientele of Monroe County. These employees, for salary purposes, are jointly funded. Annually, the Florida Cooperative Extension Service ccnducts a thorough Performance Evaluation. Based upon this evaluation, salary raises are determined and adjustments are made on the percentage of the salary the University of Florida pays. The Florida Cooperative -Extension Service requests the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners to annually adjust the salaries of these two employees in the same amount or percentage other Monroe County employees receive. This amount or percentage would be only on the amount of salary received from Monroe County, to be effective October 1 of each year or the date the County Budget is effective for the Fiscal Year. Once this raise is effective the new salary would be reflected in the amount of monies mailed from the County to the Florida Cooperative Extension Service monthly. The Florida Cooperative Extension Service will in turn issue a warrant for this new amount as appropriate to the two Extension Agents in Monroe County.
