PURIE HOWANITZ JEROME SHIPLEY The Board of County Commissioners has instructed me to inventory all street lights (paid for by the County) to determine which lights are not in the public interest. A physical check made by Mr. Roche and myself in the Marathon area indicates the following recommendations to the Electric Board that we might eliminate. The following pole numbers with the check mark are the ones we would like to eliminate, which we are forwarding to you. I am, this date, requesting that the Electric Coop of the Marathon area disconnect every other light on U. S. 1. At that time, when the work is completed, please contact this office with the exact lights that have been turned off by your department. If there are any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.
