Detailed description of Change Order and justification:
As a result of unforeseen conditions of the road subgrade, limerock base and asphalt quantities were
increased from the original bid amount. The following items are included in this Change Order:
235 square yards of Limerock Base @ $73.30 per square yard = $17,225.50
235 square yards of Asphalt @$ 23.00 per square yard = $5,405.00
Additional Bond = $566.00
Net Amount of this Change Order = $23,196.50
This Chance Order is 9% of the original contract price.
