PROPOSED ITEMS FOR CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO EXISTING MASTER CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY AND HEWETT-KIER CONSTRUCTION, INC., DATED APRIL 19, 1988 FOR RENOVATION OF FIRST FLOOR COURTHOUSE ANNEX BUILDING KEY WEST, FLORIDA. The changes are the results of users requests after commencement of construction and modifications due to existing conditions. The following items were approved by the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners at their regular meeting November 1, 1988. Description Amount 1. Double Fur Walls, remove two existing windows block in $ 569.69 openings and stucco exterior area. 2. Relocate existing fire line for hose cabinet to clear A/C $ 176.55 duct for courtroom. 3. Delete six (6) round recessed light fixtures for Jury $ (425.00) deliberation room. 4. Furnish and Install two Acme Wrap -around lamp fixtures $ 373.45 (surface mount) for Jury Deliberation Room. 5. Furnish and Install two additonal Exit lights in lobby $ 400.00 area. 6. Add drop for A/C in holding room and ceiling grill for $ 458.79 existing exhaust for clerk's bathroom. 7. Reroute existing additional PVC Floor drain discharge $ 2,087.60 piping (not shown on original plans) 8. Demolition and Renovation for bathroom for clerk's area $ 5,779.70 including new plumbing. 9. Credit for existing acorn jail commode/lavatory combination $ (1,200.00) 10. Additional cost of selected hardware for Booking area as per $ 712.85 Section 08711 Security doors finish hardware (Allowance) Addendum No. 1 of the Project Manual. TOTAL AMOUNT PROPOSED CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 $ 85933.63 A twenty-five (25) calendar day time extension is proposed for this project based on the additional work required and time delay encountered in obtaining City permits.
