NOTICE OF CALLING FOR BIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN that on
the lVh day of November, A. D. 1968, at 3:30 p.m. in the Monroe County
Courthouse, Key West, Florida, the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida will open sealed bids for the following:
Operation of a concession stand at the Clarence S. Higgs
Memorial Beach, Key West, Monroe County, Florida.
Specifications and all bid information may be obtained from the
office of Earl R. Adams, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Monroe County,
Monroe County Courthouse, Key West, Florida.
All bids must be in the hands of the County Clerk on or before
3:30 p.m. Tuesday, November ll ' 1968.
The Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any and
all bids made pursuant to this advertisement.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONCESSION STAND AT
CLARENCE S. HIGGS MEMORIAL BEACH
1. All bidders should submit a lump sum monthly rental, to be paid
to the County in advance, for the exclusive right and privilege of maintaining
and operating a concession stand and bath house containing lockers, showers
and toilet facilities, for a period of three years, and also submit with their
bid a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of $500. 00.
2. Successful bidder shall be required not to place any signs on the
premises, unless approved by the County Commission, nor to make any re-
pairs or paint the building, unless approved by said County Commission.
3. Copy of the proposed contract which must be executed by success-
ful bidder may be examined at the office of the Clerk of the Board of County
Commissioners at the Monroe County Court House, Key West, Florida. The'
bidder should familiarize himself with the contents of said contract. In addi-
tion to the contents of said contract, the successful bidder will be required to
pay in advance the first and last months' rent under said contract, and forfeit
same if contract is breached.
4. Successful bidder shall furnish all of his own equipment necessary,
for the full and efficient operation of said concession stand and shall demon..;
strate his ability so to do, to the satisfaction of the County Commission prior
to the awarding of the bid.
