Marathon
A Special Meeting of the Monroe County Board of County
co_issioners convened at 9:00 A.M., on the above date, at the
Marathon Governaent Center. Present and answering to roll call
were co_issioners Earl Cheal, Shirley Freeman, Mary Kay Reich,
Wilhelaina Harvey, and Mayor London. Also present were Danny L.
Kolhage, Clerk; Randy Ludacer, County Attorney; Jaaes Roberts,
County Acblinistrator; County Staff; members of the Press and
Radio; and the general public.
All stood for the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
Prior to the special meeting, Commissioner Harvey
advised the Board and all present that there would be a military
band concert open to the public at Bayview Park at 6:00 p.m. on
Monday, July 18, 1994 and invited all to attend.

County Attorney Randy LUdacer, discussed the County
Attorney's ottice' Proposed Tentative Budget tor Piscal Year
1994/95. He indicated that 50t ot the an Assistant County
Attorney's position was to be tunded by airports and that he was
eliainating one Assistant County Attorney position in the amount
ot $46,230.00 with appropriate reductions in aatching costs.

Public Information Manager Rick Bernskoetter, discussed
the Public Information Department's Proposed Tentative Budget for
Piscal Year 1994/95. During discussion, motion was made by
Co..issioner Reich and seconded by Commissioner Cheal to not fund
the request for an additional position in the Public Information
Oft ice. Roll call vote was taken with the following results:

Motion carried.
