To make matters worse, Nationals are in MEMPHIS this year, which is 12 hours from Ocala and a two day trip with horses. I am already committed to attend Nationals and barring some unforseen event can't get out of it. It would be nearly impossible for me to arrive back in Ocala on Sun, Oct 2 and be in Marathon on Mon Oct 3. I sincerely want to serve as Special Magistrate and I hope you will convey this to the VAB. If it were possible for me to be there for the opening meeting, I would. Please let the VAB know that it is not a lack of willingness to serve that I will not be able to be present. Thank you and I hope to see you soon.
