20 YEARS OF SERVICE AWARD
to
PAT KENNEDY
Pat Kennedy has been employed by Monroe County for over 20years. He was
first hired in 1992 as a Maintenance Worker, was promoted to Building Maintenance
Technician just a year later, and was reclassified in 1997to his current position as
Sr. Technician Maintenance for middle keys facilities.
Though Pat’s job title refers to maintenance, and he performs those duties
with ease, he is well know for his excellent customer service, exceptional
carpentry skills, andoutstanding construction and renovation projects. Fine
examples of his work are found throughout the County; he has savedthe County
thousands of dollars by performing the work in-house.
Pat is also detailed oriented and goes out of his way to make sureeverything
is taken care of, large or small. Customer service is his number one priority. His
Personnel file which is overflowing with commendations from his supervisors,
peers, and other agencies praising his positive attitude, cooperation, assistance,
and skills and abilities.
In addition to his 20+ years of service, Pat previously received the Employee
Service Award for January, 2010, and in just a few days, he will be retiring from
the County. Pat, you will be missed, but we wish you the best in your future
endeavors.
