Keys Lake Villas, LLC RESOLUTION NO. 125 -2012 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE, TIME, AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE PROPOSED ABANDONMENT OF THE RIGHT -OF -WAY CORRIDOR OF A 30 FEET WIDE, UN -NAMED ROAD IN SECTION 1, TOWNSHIP 61 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST AND SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 61 SOUTH, RANGE 40 EAST, KEY LARGO, MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ACCORDING TO P.F. JENKINS MODEL LAND COMPANY PLAT, RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 1, PAGE 68 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, has received a petition to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in and to the hereinafter streets, alley -ways, roads or highways; and WHEREAS, under Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, it is necessary to hold a public hearing after publishing due notice of said hearing in accordance with said Chapter; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board will hold a public hearing on May 16, 2012, at 3:00 P.M. at the Murray E. Nelson Government & Cultural Center, 102050 Overseas Highway, Key Largo, Florida, to determine whether or not the Board will renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in and to the following described streets, alley -ways, roads, or highways as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, to -wit: The right of way corridor of a 30 feet wide, un -named road in Section 1, Township 61 South, Range 39 East and Section 6, Township 61 South, Range 40 East, Key Largo, Monroe County, Florida, according to the P.F. Jenkins Model Land Company Plat, recorded in Plat Book 1 at Page 68 of the public records of Monroe County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows: Begin at the Point of Intersection of the centerline of said 30 feet wide un -named road, being also the line common to Lots 9 and 12 of said P.F Jenkins Plat, with the south - easterly right of way line of State Road No. 5 (US Highway No. 1), said Point of Intersection lying 116 feet, measured at right angles, from the centerline of the former Florida East Coast Railway. From said Point of Beginning, thence S 0'40'47"E along the centerline of said 30 feet wide un- named road, being also the line common to Lot 9 and Lot 12, and common to Lot 13 and Lot 16, all according to said P.F. Jenkins Plat, for 1275.62 feet to the south line of Lot 16 of said Plat, and the Point of Termination of the herein described centerline. Subject right of way corridor contains 37,932 square feet (0.8708 acre), more or less.
