Item O BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Resolution No. -2001 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE MILLAGE RATES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Monroe County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of Chapters 129 and 200, Florida Statues, did conduct a Public Hearing on September 5, 2001 at 5:05 p.m. at the Harvey Government Center at Historic Truman School, 1200 Truman Avenue, Monroe County, Florida, to amend and adopt a Tentative Millage Rate for each district for Fiscal Year 2002, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the following Millage Rates be adopted as the Tentative Millage Rates for Fiscal Year 2002, and is hereby adopted as follows: General Revenue Fund Law Enforcement, Jail, Judicial Health Clinic General Purpose MSTU Local Road Patrol Law Enforcement Dist. Lower and Middle Keys Fire & Amb. Dist. 1 Municipal Service Taxing District #6 Municipal Service Taxing District #7 Municipal Service Waste District Translator Upper Keys Health Care Taxing District 1.3429 2.7722 0.0256 0.2962 0.6321 1.7245 0.6641 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the aggregate millage rate be adopted as the Tentative Aggregate Millage Rate as 5.0102 for Fiscal Year 2001 which is higher than the rolled-back millage rate of 4.7725 by 4.98%. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a meeting of said Board held on the 5th day of September, AD 2001.
