We would like to request a Contract Time extension for the Conch Key Fire Station until May 01 2013.
While the project is progressing forward better than previously the impact of changing the elevation of
the building continues to control an abnormal flow to construction activities. It is our sincerest hope to
complete the work prior to this date but given the problems encountered on almost every aspect of the
project I think the above mentioned date is the date to include.

RE: Change Orders
Attached is a proposed change order for Pedro Falcon Electrical Contractors, Inc. for the
Renovation and Addition of Fire Station #17. Change Order #4 is for a no cost time
extension for substantial completion by 152 days changing the completion date from
November 30, 2012 to May 1, 2013.
According to Ordinance 026 -1998 adopted by the Board of County Commissioners,
proposed change orders are to be presented to members of the Board of County
Commissioners prior to approval, assuming they are within the Administrator's
prescribed limits. Change orders not within the Administrator's authority are placed on
the BOCC agenda.
The Administrator /Deputy Administrator intends to approve this change order on Monday
, December 10, 2012.
