VALUE ADJUSTMENT BOARD
Final Meeting
Marathon Government Center
Friday, April 26, 2013
The Final Meeting of the 2012 Monroe County Value Adjustment Board convened at
11:00 a.m., on the above date, at the Marathon Government Center located at 2798 Overseas
Highway, Marathon. Present and answering to roll call were School Board Member John Dick,
Commissioner Danny Kolhage, Citizen Member John Repetto, and Commissioner David Rice.
Citizen Member Nancy Mayhew arrived later in the meeting. Also present were Pamela
Hancock, Deputy Clerk; Scott Russell, Property Appraiser; Robert Tischenkel, Attorney to the
Value Adjustment Board; and John Dent, Attorney to the Property Appraiser.
Motion was made by Citizen Member Repetto and seconded by Commissioner Kolhage
granting approval of the Minutes from the September 18, 2012 Organizational Meeting. Motion
carried unanimously.
Motion was made by School Board Member Dick and seconded by Citizen Member
Repetto granting approval of the recommendations of Special Magistrates Recommendations for
the 2012 Homestead Petitions. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion was made by School Board Member Dick and seconded by Citizen Member
Repetto granting approval of the recommendations of Special Magistrates Recommendations for
the 2012 Real Property Petitions. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion was made by Commissioner Kolhage and seconded by School Board Member
Dick granting approval of the recommendations of Special Magistrates Recommendations for the
2012 Tangible Personal Property Petitions. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion was made by School Board Member Dick and seconded by Citizen Member
Repetto granting approval of the expenditures for the Special Magistrate fees; Counsel to the
Value Adjustment Board fees; and Legal Notices. Motion carried unanimously.
Citizen Member Nancy Mayhew arrived at the meeting and took her seat.
Motion was made by School Board Member Dick and seconded by Commissioner
Kolhage granting approval of the revised Agreement for Legal Counsel to the Value Adjustment
Board. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion was made by School Board Member Dick and seconded by Commissioner
Kolhage granting approval of the Certification of Tax Roll. Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
