At the May 21't, 2014 Board of County Commissioner's meeting the Board granted approval and
authorized execution of Items:
Item C32 Amendment I to the contract with IMS Infrastructure Management Services, LLC for the
Asphalt Pavement Evaluation and Management Services Project to extend the expiration date of the
contract until June 15, 2014.
Item C34 Board Granted Approval of Amendment 4 to the contract with Metric Engineering, Inc.
for Engineering Design and Permitting Services for the US 1 Bayside Shared Use Path Project to extend
the expiration date of the contract until June 1, 2015.
Item C35 Board Granted Approval of Amendment 2 to the Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with the
City of Marathon to provide another year of funding at 7.5% of the contract amount or $18,750,
whichever is less, to fund the Pigeon Key Ferry for the annual term commencing on July 1, 2014.

AMENDMENT 1TO THE
AGREEMENT FOR ASPHALT PAVEMENT EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES
THIS AMENDMENT 1 to the Agreement dated March 20, 2013, between Monroe County,whose address
is 1100 Simonton Street, Room 2-216 Key West, Florida 33040, hereafter the"COUNTY"and IMS Infrastructure
Management Services, LLC a Limited Liability Company of the State of Arizona,whose address is 1820 W Drake
Drive,Suite 108,Tempe,AZ 85283, hereafter the"CONSULTANT" is entered into on this 21"day of May 2014.
WHEREAS,on the 20'h day of March 2013,the parties entered into an Agreement for Asphalt Pavement
Evaluation and Management Services authorizing the Consultant to perform a Scope of Services to include
compiling a comprehensive surface condition survey of all paved roads under the County's jurisdiction,summarize
and deliver data and images collected to the County,format the data for MicroPAVER software and provide
MicroPAVER software and training for County employees;for a not to exceed amount of$103,484.00;and
WHEREAS,the Agreement stipulates that the scope of services shall be completed no later than 150 days
from the Notice to Proceed issued by the County and the Notice to Proceed was issued to the Consultant on the
101h of April 2013 providing for a completion date of September 7, 2013;and
WHEREAS,due to unanticipated delays,the Consultant was unable to complete all requirements of the
Agreement by the completion date;and
WHEREAS,the County finds the extension of job duration and completion date for this project
reasonable:
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein,the County and Consultant
-agreeto amend the Agreement as follows:
1. All requirements shall be completed no later than June 15, 2014.
In all other respects the Agreement dated March 20, 2013 remains in full force and effect.
