A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
RENOUNCING AND DISCLAIMING ANY RIGHT OF THE COUNTY AND THE PUBLIC IN AND
TO A PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY BETWEEN PARCELS C & D, BURLINGTON HEIGHTS,
KEY LARGO, FLORIDA

WHEREAS, due notice has been published and a public hearing has ~e~ h:l. i~
accordance with Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing the Board considered the argument of all parties present
wishing to speak on the matter, and all premises considered concerning the renouncing and
disclaiming of any right of the County and the public in and to the hereinafter described streets,
alley-ways, roads or highways as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat. and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that vacation of the said road is for the general public
welfare, and conforms to the requirement of Florida Statutes Sec. 336.09 and Sec. 336.10, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA
that the Board hereby renounces and disclaims any right of the County and the public in and to the
following described streets, alley-ways, roads or highways as delineated on the hereinafter described
map or plat. to-wit:
COMMENCE AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF BURLINGTON HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 2, PAGE 148 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA SAME BEING THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 19 OF THE MODEL
LAND COMPANY PLAT AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 1, PAGE 68; THENCE N 88007' 54" E,
ALONG THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 19, A DISTANCE OF 640.44 FT. TO THE
INTERSECTION WITH THE WESTERLY LINE OF A 15 FT. WIDE ROADWAY AS SHOWN ON
SAID PLAT BOOK 1, PAGE 68, FOR A POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE N 00008' 14" W,
ALONG THE WESTERLY LINE OF SAID ROADWAY, A DISTANCE OF 596.14 FT. TO THE
INTERSECTION WITH THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND AS
DESCRIBED AND RECORDED IN OFFICIAL RECORDS BOOK 1182, PAGE 1210,
AFORESAID PUBLIC RECORDS; THENCE N 87047' 16" E, ALONG THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF
SAID CERTAIN PARCEL, A DISTANCE OF 15.00 FT. TO THE INTERSECTION WITH THE
EASTERLY LINE OF SAID 15 FT. WIDE ROADWAY; THENCE S 00008'14" E. ALONG THE
EASTERLY LINE OF SAID 15 FT. ROADWAY, A DISTANCE OF 656.18 FT. TO THE NORTHEAST
CORNER OF THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND AS DESCRIBED AND RECORDED IN
OFFICIAL RECORDS BOOK 1185, PAGE 1248, AFORESAID PUBLIC RECORDS: THENCE S
43056'23" W, ALONG THE NORTHWESTERLY LINE OF SAID CERTAIN PARCEL, A DISTANCE
OF 21.55 FT. TO THE INTERSECTION WITH THE WESTERLY LINE OF SAID 15 FT. WIDE
ROADWAY; THENCE N 00008'14" W ALONG SAID WESTERLY LINE, A DISTANCE OF 74.98
FT TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, BEING AND LYING IN SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 61
SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST, MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
