AGENDA ITEM WORDING:
Public Hearing and approval of a resolution adopting the Tentative
Budget for fiscal year 2017.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
Since last reviewed by the Board on July 18, 2016, the proposed budget
has been revised to reflect $541,659 of additional real estate transactions anticipated to close prior to
September 30, 2016; $20,000 for anticipated increased legal fees; $3,600 for anticipated increased
group insurance rates; and updated revenue estimates. As a result of these changes, the
appropriation for purchase of property in the Florida Keys Area of Critical State Concern is reduced
by $538,004 to $4,111,350 and the total amount of the budget is reduced by $527,039 to
$12,417,433.

The Board reviewed the budget on July 18, 2016.
