AGENDA ITEM WORDING:
Approval of a Resolution to prohibit parking on the county right-
of-way on Magnolia Street in Key Largo.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
Magnolia Street in the Ocean Acres subdivision in Key Largo is a 30-ft.
wide right-of-way in a congested, industrial area. There is a transfer station at the end and numerous
vehicles parked along the road prevent clear access by vehicles and potentially emergency vehicles,
which creates a safety hazard. Pursuant to Monroe County Code Sec. 25-27, the Board of County
Commissioners may by Resolution prohibit parking along county roads. The designated area will be
accordance with County Code.
