Publication $6,425 (' Supplementation $18.50 per page Online hosting and support $300 Timeline 3-4 months Pricing =Apples to Apples: Here are some important considerations to keep in mind: t' The publication base cost of$6,425 is based on a 380 page, single column; I' Supplement charges -single column per page rate of$18.50; The online code is only $300 for our basic service. 1' If you would like to further enhance the transparency of your online code, you can elect the MyMunicode bundled pack for only$1,095. Municode does not charge an extra fee for posting supplements online. (' Municode does not charge an extra fee for printing your supplement pages. The following timeframe will apply to the publication of your rules and regulations. Supplementation will commence upon completion of the publication, starting with Supplement No.1. Supplemental Updating Editorial Approach. We use a team approach to editing. This provides for consistency in editing, understanding and quality of work for you. Supplement service will commence upon completion of the initial publication. Ongoing Supplementation. Our goal is to meet and exceed your needs and expectations. Working with you and your staff, we will create whatever supplementation schedule will best serve you and your citizens. Once all material has been submitted for consideration, our production support team will provide you with a Disposition List outlining the totality of the material that has been submitted for consideration. Material is preferred in an electronically editable format and should be sent to ords@municode.com. Every ordinance sent to us will be acknowledged via e-mail. A complete list of legislation recorded in an update will be provided. We will hold legislation pending a schedule or begin the job immediately—your choice! Step Two: Editorial Review Our editorial team reviews all rules and resolutions that have been sent to us in order to determine: Whether the ordinance should be included in the book; Where the ordinance should be placed; Whether the ordinance conflicts with material currently included in your rules and regulations; 5 Contract Addendum " What material will need to be removed from your existing rules and regulations; What history notes will need to be added to your rules and regulations; What tables will need to be updated within your rules and regulations. Step Three: Mark-Up Our editors use a proprietary mark-up language to create your supplement. Step Four: Indexing " Once our editor has completed the editorial mark-up, your supplement is sent to our indexing department where all newly added material is indexed and cross-referenced as appropriate. Step Five: Proofreading Our proofreading team will read your supplement to ensure editorial accuracy(spelling, capitalization, code hierarchy, and layout). Our proofreading team will re-read each new ordinance in order to ensure that the decisions made by the editorial team were correct. 1' Once this analysis is complete, the proofreader then reads each ordinance, line by line and compares it to the newly added text in order to ensure that all material is correct. Instruction Sheet: With each printed supplement, we will furnish a page of instructions for removal of the obsolete pages and insertion of the new pages. Checklist: We will furnish a checklist of up-to-date pages with each supplement. Step Six: Corrections Should the editorial, legal and or proofreading team find discrepancies in your legislation, we will coordinate with you in order to ensure that the rules and resolutions are correct and in keeping with the existent rules and regulations. Step Seven: Proofs, if elected Our editorial team can provide you with a proof PDF copy of each supplement for your review, as well as any questions that we may have for your consideration. We ask that you return proofs in 30 days or less. This will help keep your rules and regulations up-to-date. Upon return of the proofs, our editorial team will make any necessary updates to each supplement. Step Eight: Printing and Shipping 1' Our print team will print, cut, hole-punch, insert divider tabs and your supplements to you and subscribers. Step Nine: MunicodeNEXT Soon after your supplement ships, our information technology team will post your rules and regulations online and create any necessary electronic products to include PDF and Folio downloads. Term of Agreement. This Agreement shall begin upon execution of this Agreement and end three years after the publication date of the new code. Thereafter, the supplement service shall be automatically renewed from year to year provided that each party may cancel or change this agreement with sixty (60) days written notice.
