and Border Protection Building Expansion project at the Key West International Airport in the
amount of $92,582.00 to be paid 50% from FDOT Grant #AQH10 ($46,291) and 50% from
Passenger Facility Charges (PFC) Fund 406 ($46,291).
ITEM BACKGROUND:
Jacobs will provide full -time RPR services for the construction work associated with this project to
ensure compliance with the plans and specifications
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: Approved original FDOT JPA for Grant #AQH10 on
2/15/12, SJPA #1 on 2/8/15, SPJA #2 on 11/17/2015 and SJPA #3 on 10/19/16. Approved
construction contract with OAC Construction on 12/9/15 and amendment #1 on 2/15/17.

Jacobs will provide construction support and resident project representative (RPR) services for
the "Customs Border and Protection Building Expansion" project at Key West International CM
Airport (EYW). These construction services will provide the following:
1. Coordinate and attend progress meetings with the contractor, Airport, and any other
interested parties, as required prior to construction (e.g. Staging area coordination, setting
up Contractor's trailer.).
2. Provide full-time RPR services for the work associated with the project. The RPR for the
project shall have field experience in the type of work to be performed, be fully qualified to
make interpretations, decisions, field computations, and have knowledge of testing
requirements and procedures.
