Please see page 2 for an explanation of all assessed charges. 1 EXPLANATION OF ASSESSED CHARGES Per Map Paae: · Paper - 100' rolls @ $100.00 per roll. One map sheet uses 4' of paper. 100' /4' = 25 map sheets per roll. $100.00/25 = $4.00 per map sheet. · Ink - 4 jets (black, cyan, magenta, yellow) @ $25.00 each = $100.00. Production estimate is 50 map sheets per set. $100.00/50 = $2.00 per map sheet. · Machine Time - Data General hardware and operating software costs total $87,876.00 per year. Production software (esri) cost total $6,400.00 per year. $87,876.00 + $6.400.00 = $94,276.00. Machine run time of 2,080 hours per year less 104 hours for holidays = 1976 hours. $94,276.00/1976 = $47.71 per hour run cost. One map sheet takes 38 minutes to produce. 18 minutes to run ami program and 20 minutes to plot the map sheet. 38 / 60 = 63% (63% of one hour). $47.71 x .63 = $30.05/$30.00 machine cost per map sheet. · Labor - Operator direct cost = $16.00 per hour. Indirect labor cost $16.00 per hour x 42% (est.) = $6.72. $16.00 + $6.72 = $22.72 per hour labor cost. $22.72 x .63 (% of hour devoted to production run) = $14.31/$14.00 labor cost per map sheet. Map Data on Electronic Media: . 8mm Tape - $20.00 · Machine 'ftme - See calcu1atton of per hour run time above. 30 minutes to load data. 30/60 = 50% (50% of one hour). $47.71 x .50 = $23.85/$24.00 machine cost per tape load. · Labor. - -See catcutatiorrofo-erhoar labor cost above. ts minutes' to run tape load program. 15 /60 = 25% (25% of one hour). $22.72 x .25 = $5.68/$6.00 labor cost per tape load.
