Thacker's resignation.

professional educator for more than thirty years at the elementary, middle and
high school levels I have developed successful strategies and award winning
programs in mv field. Since ioininQ the community as a part time resident.
property owner, 1989, and full time residenU999, I have been actively involved it!.
Monroe County and the City of Marathon Community, My service to our
community includes: Development of the award winninq conservation program at
the Marathon Garden Club, 2003, Outstanding Volunteer Award UFL 2005 and
Creation of the Wonder Garden Series 2005. The series has been nominated for
an award at the University of Florida Master Gardener Convention in October. I
also serve as former staging director and current Vice President of the Middle
Kevs Concert Association. The outstanding series of concerts presented in
collaboration with groups in Key West and Kev Larqo attracts thousands of
attendees, I currently serve on the Scenic Hiqhway Committee and have been
actively engaged in developinq a destination Garden at the Marathon Garden
Club. Having participated in The Five Year Review of the Marine Sanctuary Plan.
2000, volunteered with The Nature Conservancy and Audubon Society Hawk
Watch, sang with the San Pablo Choir and the Community Theater Chorus and
serve on the Cit of Marathon Affordable Housin Committee et al I have

Tourist Development Council well as we develop viable, engaqing experiences
