Unfortunately, the committee in charge of all things involving the museum project failed to complete what was necessary to bring the museum project to completion causing our contract with Mr. Curry of the islander to terminate our agreement with hire for the building which we were going to rent. I personally and from the board of the Matecumbe Historical Trust thank each and every one of you for the opportunity to make the museum project a reality. I am truly sorry for the demise of the project after you placed your confidence in us and this wonderful project.
