On Sexton Cove Road there was an existing area of ponding water near the center of the road. it was recommended by the CEI with the FOR concurrence to mill R -1 just enough to create positive water flow to the shoulder. This resulted in an overrun of 257.1 SY. The total overrun is 2,550.80 SY Pay item 334 -1 -11 Supei - pave Asphalt Concrete Pavement, Traffic A Due to existing cracking on Swallow Road it was recommended by the CEI with the FOR concurrence to mill I inch of asphalt and place an additional 1 inch of asphalt that resulted in an overrun of 122.79 tons. The existing asphalt on various roads required a leveling course of asphalt. The contractor placed leveling asphalt on Sexton Cove Drive, Snipes Road, Flamingo Road and Osprey which resulted in an overrun of 95.13 tons. The total overrun is 217.92 tons. Due to the additional work the contract time will be increased by three days.
