ITEM BACKGROUND: The Mayoral appointment to the AHAC is required by the enacting Resolution to be a member of the Planning Commission. Mr. Wiatt is the current District 4 Representative to the Planning Commission. The AHAC is needed to meet for two meetings, one in the Summer and one in the Fall of 2012, to review the Local Housing Assistance Program incentive strategies and make recommendation to the BOCC by December 2012 regarding adoption of the amended LHAP by 2013 as required by the State to receive State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program funds.
