He grew up in upstate New York working on and flying at a very young age. At the age of sixteen, he soloed three aircraft on his birthday, two of them being tailwheel aircraft. After building enough time receiving his commercial rating and then on to his A &P mechanics certificate. For many years he traveled the US, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Bahamas, and Virgin Islands working as crew chief at air shows for the Iron Eagle Aerobatic Team. At the age of 28, he went to work for Tropic Airways in Ft. Lauderdale Florida for two years as a mechanic /pilot on Cessna 208 Caravan amphibs. While working at Tropic Ocean, he was sent to flight safety in Wichita Kansas for maintenance certification on the aircraft. After leaving Ft. Lauderdale, he worked in Connecticut for two years at Shoreline Aviation as a mechanic on Cessna 208 Caravan amphibs. Upon leaving Shoreline Aviation, he went ahead and purchased the Biplane tours from the Cabanas family in November of 2016. He currently resides in Key West operating daily tour flights for tourists and residents.
