ITEM BACKGROUND: Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) RFP was distributed in April 2017. There were six proposals received from different PBM's. The Selection Committee recommendation is to accept the Envision proposal with the Select Formulary. The contract renewal will be for three (3) years, effective 1/1/18 thru 12/31/20. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: Initial contract with Envision was for three years October 1, 2011- September 31, 2014. With this renewal there was a reduction in the monthly administrative fees and dispensing fees for the next three years with an estimated savings of $32,400. The contract was amended on October 2014 thru September 2017 and in December 2016 Amendment #2 extended the contract through December 31, 2017. Publication for PBM RFP approved by BOCC 4/17/2017 and on July 21, 2017 the Selection Committee selected Envision RX. See attached Official Tabulation Sheet. CONTRACT /AGREEMENT CHANGES: n/a STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approval of bid award to Envision Pharmaceutical Services, LLC with contract for pharmacy benefits management and EGWP (Employer Group Waiver Plan) agreement.
