AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE E - RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE {R R}
1. Attend pre-construction conference,
2. Coordinate and attend progress meetings with the contractor, Airport, and any other interested
parties, as required prior to construction (e.g. Staging area coordination, setting up Contractor's
trailer.).
3. Provide full-time RPR services for the work associated with the project. The RPR's for the
project shall have field experience in the type of work to be performed, be fully qualified to make
interpretations, decisions, field computations, and have knowledge of testing requirements and
procedures.
The RPF's shall be responsible for the following:
Checking of construction activities to ensure compliance with the plans and specifications.
Inform the contractor and County of any work, which is in non-compliance.
Coordinate quality assurance tests and verify they have been performed at the frequency
stated in the specifications.
0 Review certifications for conformance with the specifications.
Document quantities of materials used on the project by actual measurements and
computations in a field notebook or computer printout retained in a folder.
Maintain a set of working drawings on the job site, which can be used to prepare "As-Built"
drawings.
Review the test reports and certifications for conformance with the specifications and
maintain a file for all reports and certifications.

Rehabilitation Project at Key West International Airport, Construction support services shall
include but not be limited to the following:
1. Field Coordination with the Contactor's surveyor including coordination of project
control points. Field coordination shall include mobilization of survey crews on-site as
necessary to address any field questions.
2. Review of questions from the Contractor's surveyor regarding the design topographic
survey and project controls.
3. Review of questions from the Contractor's surveyor regarding their field survey and
construction layout,
Avirom & Associates will perforin the above services on a time and materials basis. It is our
understanding the Field Coordination will be performed between lOpm and 7a m. Crew time is
anticipated not to exceed a total of 5 nights,
Office time for Professional Surveyor & Technician to coordinate with the Contractor's surveyor
and design team as necessary. Office time is not anticipated to exceed a total of five days (2.5
days for Professional Surveyor & 2.5 days for Survey Technician.)

Sightline will provide one Technician to provide on-site quality control for four (4)
days to establish a baseline for quality, oversee airfield marking installation by
striping contractor, and measure resulting retroreflective performance.
The Technician will be responsible for working with the striping contractor to
ensure specifications are met to include:

Jacobs Project Management Co. (JACOBS) has requested that ROM International, Inc. (RDM) to submit a
technical scope and fee proposal to provide construction support services during the construction of the
Rehabilitation Of Runway 9-27 at Key West International Airport (EYW), JACOBS has included ROM in their
proposal to assist with monitoring the construction.
The project includes the mill, and overlay of the runway, Shoulder construction, electrical repairs, and taxiway
connectors. The project also includes temporary and permanent pavement markings, runway grooving and other
incidentals.
Scope of Services
The following scope of services for RDM International, Inc. (RDM) to provide assistance during construction

4) As requested by the JACOBS PM, timely consultation and advice to interpret or clarify the intent of the plans
and specifications and answer questions that may arise during the construction of the project shall be
