ITEM BACKGROUND: On January 21, 2015, five (5) A/E Professional Services contracts were approved with four (4) year terms ending January 20, 2019, and one (1) A/E Professional Service contract was approved on March 18, 2015, ending on March 17, 2019. Staff would like to start the process of contracting with A/E professionals with new contracts by first advertising an RFQ. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: January 21, 2015 BOCC approved continuing contracts where construction costs do not exceed $2,000,000.00 or for study activity if the fee for professional services for each individual study under the contract does not exceed $200,000.00 with the following: Bender & Associates Architects, P.A.; Bermello Ajamil & Partners, Inc.; Currie Sowards Aguila Architects; William P. Horn Architect, P.A.; K2M Design, Inc.; and Pike Architects, Inc. March 18, 2015 BOCC approved a continuing contract with Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure, Inc. (AMEC). January 18, 2017 BOCC approved First Amendments to four (4) Professional Services contracts revising language for Public Records compliance in accordance with Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes pursuant to legislative revisions to § 119.0701 effective March 8, 2016, and approved two (2) more Amendments on February 15, 2017.
