AGENDA ITEM WORDING:
Approval to reject all responses to Rowell's Waterfront Park
request for qualifications per FDOT's direction that an insufficient number of responses were
received and the scope description needs revision, and approval to advertise a new RFQ.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
The BOCC approved advertisement of an RFQ for engineering, design
and permitting services. On April 17, 2016, project management received two (2) proposals.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
March 2015 - BOCC approval to execute LAP agreement with FDOT to develop Rowell's
Waterfront Park. June 2014 - BOCC approval of the 2014 Transportation Alternative Program
(TAP) Funding Application. December 2013 - BOCC approval to purchase Rowell's Marina.
