AGENDA ITEM WORDING:
Approval of the first of (2) two optional (2) two year Renewal
Agreement with Pamela Uslander for a mobile food concession at Higgs Beach. Lessee became
current on all payments and has continued to perform well during the evaluation period. The Lessee
has timely requested a renewal of her lease as provided for in her original Agreement.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
On December 10, 2014 the BOCC approved a bid award one year
agreement with (2) two optional (2) two year period renewals with Pamela Uslander for a mobile
food concession at Higgs Beach. On January 20, 2016 the BOCC approved a 6 month extension
agreement
Lessee has timely requested a renewal of her lease as provided for in her original Agreement.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
On January 16, 2014, there was a discussion of a mobile food vendor at Higgs Beach. On January
31, 2014, the BOCC gave approval to advertise a Request For Proposals for mobile vendors at Higgs
Beach. On October 17, 2014, the BOCC gave approval to negotiate with the highest rated,
responsive, conforming respondent for a mobile food concession at Higgs Beach. On December 10,
2014, the BOCC approved a Bid award for a one year lease agreement with Pamela Uslander for a
mobile food concession at Higgs Beach. At the December 09, 2015 BOCC there was a discussion
whereas the Board agreed to consider an extension of the Original Agreement for 6 months in order
agreement. The Lessee has timely requested a renewal of her lease as provided for in her original
Agreement.
CONTRACT/AGREEMENT CHANGES:
Contract will commence July 01, 2016 and terminate June 30, 2018.
