ITEM BACKGROUND:
This County vehicle # 0800-8403 is a 2015 Ford Transit Connect XLT
used by the IT department. The vehicle sustained major front end damage when it was hit in a motor
vehicle accident on 12/13/15. Allstate Ins. Co., the at fault driver's insurer, has declared this vehicle
a total loss. Allstate has offered to remit a total loss payment to the County in the amount of
$23,618.11 in exchange for title to the vehicle.
