AGENDA ITEM WORDING:
Approval of the Unity of Title which consolidates Monroe
County's three parcels into a single lot with one legal description. This is the County owned property
to be used for the Fire Station on Cudjoe Key.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
Development and planning approvals require a unity of title of the
aggregated parcels to build the fire station and for determining the appropriate form of development
review. The parcels share a common zoning designation along US 1 that allows for this planned
public safety use.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
10/21/15 - BOCC approved Agreement for Sale and
Purchase of the three parcels.5/18/16- BOCC approved project management to negotiate a contract
with CPH, Inc. for design of the facility.
