ITEM BACKGROUND:
BOCC has expressed desire that all current and future roadway
improvement projects be adapted to take into account Sea Level Rise. A contract for design and
permitting services for the Stock Island I Roadway and Drainage Improvement Project was signed
with T.Y. Lin International in February 2015 which now needs to be amended to include sea level
rise adaptation.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
BOCC approved contract with T.Y. Lin International for Engineering Design & Permitting Services
for Stock Island I Roadway & Drainage Improvement Project in the amount of $322,088.25 on
February 18, 2015.
CONTRACT/AGREEMENT CHANGES:
Amendment for additional design services for sea level rise adaptation for an additional fee of
$34,752.00.
