WHEREAS, the Florida Department • Health in Monroe County has finalized a document callel'

WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Health in Monroe County is the first county health
department in Florida to create a premier publication that features age -adjusted death rate

WHEREAS, the CHIP also includes a report of the agency's second community health
assessment study, which was conducted in the micro -community of West and Central
Marathon —the first study was conducted in Bahama Village, Key West —and we plan on
conducting • community health assessment study every few years; and
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Health in Monroe County encourages residents and
