ITEM BACKGROUND:
Claimant sustained a work related injury on May 26, 2015 while in the
course and scope of his employment. Until his retirement on April 2, 2016, he had been employed by

claim cost in addition to legal defense fees (claim cost includes treatment to date, indemnity
payments, transportation, medication, etc.). Future exposure cost could very well exceed three or
four times the settlement amount.
