Re: 35th Annual 7-Mile Bridge Run
Dear Mayor and Commissioners,
Marathon, FL 33050
The Marathon Runners Club respectfully requests to be added to the agenda for the next scheduled
meeting. We are requesting approval for the running of the 351" Annual 7-Mile Bridge Run for Saturday,
April 9, 2016 from 6:45 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. We are very proud to say that our local youth benefit in
excess of $800,000.00 from proceeds from the 7-Mile Bridge Run since it began in 1982. We appreciate
the overwhelming response we receive from our annual event and thankful to participants, sponsors,
volunteers and the continued support of our community.
We will be acquiring all the necessary permits, insurances and certificates which will be provided to you
upon request at the completion of receipt.
We are anxious to hear from you following the outcome of your next meeting so we can proceed with
planning next year's running event. Please acknowledge the approval of the 351" Annual 7-Mile Bridge
Run by the commission by email to bavlesb@earthlink.net. Please send me the conformation and the
link of the approval/minutes which would make it easier to printout so we can present it to the DOT and
other entities that require it.
